Meet Andrea
Wife, mother of 4, lover of old farmhouses, baker of delicious goodies, and expert at simplifying things that feel overwhelming.
If you feel overwhelmed or confused by the exciting world of freshly milled flour, I’m here to help!
After many years of trial and error, I’ve developed dozens of delicious family-favorite recipes made with 100% freshly milled whole-grain flours.
Use my tips, learn from all my mistakes (seriously, if I can do this, you can too), and start pumping out yummy, nutritious baked goods in no time.

How It All Started
In 2018, after more than a decade of baking for my family, I did a deep dive into freshly milled flour and got a little obsessed.
My Nutrimill arrived soon after… I’ve come a long way since my first several failed attempts. 😉
If you’ve never tasted freshly milled flour, I’m confident you will be blown away by the amazing flavor… and also the nutritional benefits.

Did you know we can literally survive on bread!?
No, not the stuff in stores, but bread made with nutrient-dense, freshly milled, whole-grain flour. It’s pretty amazing!
Not only does freshly milled flour retain almost 100% of the grain’s vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats (if used within 12 hours), it also contains 40 of the 44 essential nutrients our bodies require, and it’s loaded with fiber.
Freshly milled flour is one of the best changes you can make in your family’s diet… and it doesn’t need to be complicated (I promise!)

Farmhouse Flours is Born!
After years of experimenting with various recipes and sharing lots of baked goods (and nutritional benefits) with family and friends, I started getting requests to mill flour for others.
This led to selling freshly milled flour on Facebook Marketplace… which resulted in an inbox full of questions asking how to bake with FMF, how to store FMF, simple recipes with FMF, etc.
And that’s how Farmhouse Flours was born!
My desire is to simplify the world of freshly milled whole grains while sharing my passion for the amazing flavor and nutrients.
My only disclaimer is that once you start enjoying freshly milled flours, you’ll never be able to go back to store-bought flour again!
